Thap Lan National Park-Thap Lan Reservoir, and Thap Lan Village

           Thap Lan National Park, Prachin Buri is a natural heritage that is home to an abundance of plant and wildlife species. It is one of the most abundant jungles in Thailand. It has beautiful scenery of valleys, cliffs, and waterfalls. It is also the source of many important rivers. Thap Lan National Park is the second-largest national park in Thailand, covering the area of Prachin Buri and Nakorn Ratchasima.

           The main highlight here is the last Lan forest of Thailand. The atmosphere is cool and pleasant, suitable for a picnic on holiday. The Lan forest has the area of about 20 rai consisting of Talipot palm, a Primitive plant that will bloom only once throughout its lifetime only when the Talipot palm is over 20 years.

           Within Thap Lan National Park, there is Thap Lan Reservoir that resembles a vast beautiful lake, surrounded by high mountains. You can also see Dong Phaya Yen mountains farther away as a backdrop.

          Another unseen beauty of Thap Lan is Thap Lan village. Thap Lan village has been acclaimed as a large wickerwork handicraft village of Thailand. It also encourages eco-tourism, Homestay style, which is the activity that is gaining more attention from the public.
