Wang Can Temple was built by the faith of the locals in Buddhism. It is where a statue of Luang Phor Ming Mongkol Chiangsaen is situated and is on the Bang Pakong riverbank. This sacred statue was built by the Wang Chan locals and it has now become an anchor of their souls and the Prachin Buri’s souls, too. In the temple area, there is a traditional museum displaying rare classic electronic devices and ancient agricultural tools, for example, Si Pad Kao, Greau, and bamboo basketwork. The museum can represent and reflect the Wang Chan's lifestyle in the past.

          Here is the highlight of Wang Chan Temple. On every Sunday mornings, villagers from Tambon Bang Kung come to the temple by boat, carrying goods, fresh food, and cooked food to be sold at the Wang Chan Floating Market. With the help of everybody in the communities, the floating market was initiated and is still ongoing.  Things found in the market are mostly local products; chemical-free vegetables, boat noodle with a special recipe by the locals, river fish with cheap prices, and other local delicious dishes. The market is surrounded by a warm atmosphere. The local vendors have a friendly smile on their faces and wear a traditional Thai costume to welcome visitors. The visitors can also take a rowing boat for sightseeing along the beautiful Bang Pakong River.
